Haiti Port-Au-Prince Disaster Relief

We have exhausted all NGO's, other agencies and gov'ts providing assistance in Port-Au-Prince. It would appear by the response, the relief organizations do not need sailors or their vessels for any relief in Haiti? We are still going to organize a drop of medical supplies and dry goods for orphanages in Haiti. I guess with several hospital ships and other naval ships moored just offshore, there isn't much call for little ole' Out-N-Aboat for accommodations.

Haiti Disaster Relief Accomodations - Update

One week has passed since the Haiti earthquake and our attempts to offer Out-N-Aboat to the disaster relief. We have contacted several Haiti NGO's and relief organizations with some responses. Several people have contacted us desperately looking for rides into the disaster capital of Port-Au-Prince and other volunteers both sailors and those looking to help in what ever way they can.

Haiti Disaster Relief Accomodations

We have decided to offer Out-N-Aboat to the Haiti disaster relief for the much needed accomodations. What little infrastructure was there prior to the earthquake has been damaged. Access over land is almost impossible. All flight access is controlled and restricted. Many hotels and accomodations are destroyed and the options for the disaster relief are limited. Those buildings that did not completely fall are damaged and not safe. Both chaos and frustration is on the rise as disaster relief to needed areas of Port-Au-Prince is slow in coming.
